Now, why doesn't this qualify as a Pedigree again? Damn, fine books Burntboy!!!! cloud9.gif

not uniformly High Grade, and the Key Origin issues are Mid Graders (FF#1, JIM #83, Avengers #4, ASM #14, TOS #39, TTA #27, Hulk #'s 1-6, ST #101, Flash #105, Showcase #'s 17, 22 & 34, B&B #28-30, 34, GL #1, Action #252, etc..........

and while it's pretty complete, there are holes...............but i ain't complaining... grin.gif

Prices been set yet? Or would I have to be there/call in on the day of?

Prices to be set this weekend.

quite frankly, we've painted ourselves into a corner by proclaiming that none of the books will be available for sale for at least 1 hour after the show opens each day. we did this for a variety of reasons, but didn't want to list the books early and then have little to bring to NYC because the coolest stuff was gone already.

plus, we have the possibility of being noted in the program, due to the beauty of this decent sized, original Owner collection. again, if that should come to pass, we wouldn't want to show up with half of the "Cherry-picked" lot.

as such, the books will only be offered for sale at the show.

but, that too, is subject to change. ie., no one is interested in NYC and i've still got 75 books on day 2..........or 60 books by closing time saturday night. hell, i may be begging those who have expressed interest to "help a brotha out" by then.................... devil.gif

if i were interested in a book or two, i'd find someone who was going to the show and work it out with them. if you're willing to spend the asking price, it's all very simple, assuming the book is still there.................. 893crossfingers-thumb.gif

we're hoping to have a remote credit card processor with us, or at least be able to take Amex.

I will post the conditions in the next week and how I would like to proceed. But for me, I will only cut one check to Harry, the pain comes in shipping all the books out, but I am more than happy to help out everyone. There may be a "service fee" distributed amongst all those who ask if there's a lot (i.e. picking up my gas and parking) but if it's one or two people, then I'll just grab them.

Brian I'll even pay for a few beers and hot dogs if it gets me the book(s) I'm after. poke2.gif

If I can agree with Harry on the prices then there will be no problem helping the messenger/deliverer. thumbsup2.gif

That sure is a nice batch of TIGHTLY GRADED BOOKS.Some of them even appear to be undergraded. When you first started talking about selling,I was sure that I knew EXACTLY which book I wanted.I now know EXACTLY which 10 books I want confused-smiley-013.gif.This'll take me back to the Rogofsky days when you had to list alternate choices(which should be easy to do with that list!! If you don't go too far over FMV,I believe I would predict a 70% sell-through at the show.Nice books,I wish I could be there.Hopefully I'll be able to work out the proxy option. After you become wealthy from selling all those gems,if you need a lawn cutter or shoe shine boy, keep me in mind 27_laughing.gif.GOD BLESS...

Hello Brian,

I would be very interested in your help,if possible.I don't know about the other guys, but I have no problem with giving you a service fee,in fact,I was hoping you would let me give you at least $50 for a nice lunch or whatever, even if for some reason you couldn't get the books I wanted.Hope things are going well with you.GOD BLESS...
