That U$15 is a beauty (surprised to see you browse these, btw.??). I used

to collect them but stopped - it was just not as challenging and interesting

as the 1930s books. I do have some Barks originals from the early U$, though

(outtakes, since all the published art was destroyed).

The MMM V1#1 is pretty easy to find in VG but almost impossible to get in

FN. I've been waiting for a nice copy to show up but this one does look a

little on the lemonish side...

I would want to know more from the seller about that spine. It looks pretty used. The back scan shows extra wear by that bottom staple so I would ask how sturdy it is there. (Look closely and there is definitely some tearing). Also ask about the paper OWL level. If it is sturdy and has a decent OWL I would give this book a solid 5.0. rantpost.gif

5.0 minimum... wink.gif

That being said....what a 5.0!! ....the colors are deep and rich...the book is almost 70 years old...it's a V1 #1 .....how many of these can there be out there...if you want/need it, then go for it....

If I saw my grail book in this condition (Amazing Stories #1) and I had the cash...I would be on it like white on rice... makepoint.gif
