I have to agree with the sellers description and say VF+....

Hmmm...wonder why the seller didn't mention the 1" edge crease on the right edge by the comics code box, nor the fainter, but longer, edge crease just below that. I'm thinking VF for this copy.

 

The OS price guide states a VF can have up to a 1/4" non-color breaking crease, but I don't take that as a limitation on a VF copy, and don't believe most graders do either (including CGC).

He did...he was just diplomatically vague...

 

The only thing keeping this from grading at a solid NM is the edge wear and blemish on the upper right which is minor but enough to take it just out of 9.4 range - no lower than a very strict very fine plus.

I just cant bring myself to call any book with any clearly noticable creases that long a NM-. Its still a real beauty.
