those are all first printings from the late 1930s.

 

I guess readers were expected to move up to Big Little Books once they "outgrew" comic books?

The Dawn of Timely Comics in Brazil and easily one of the most important comics in our genres history.

This comic is as rare as they come only a handful are known to exist.

The first 12 Gibi Mensal's were published in 1940 and were given away as free inserts in a journal called O Globo Juvenil most were discarded because they were a brand new format.

Hello my friend,

There are extremely rare much rarer then US versions production runs to begin with were only a fraction of the US. Let alone the materials were extremely fragile and life expectancy very low.

Most of the editions I posted here there are only a handful known to exist.
