The lamest villain is the ASM story board team who came up with Spider-Man Group editor who let the 90's clone saga run without a proper timeline or ending in place.

 

Fixed that for you... except that JMS and the editor(s) responsible for Sins Past make them look like unparalleled geniuses.

I don't mind Venom (except Marvel's overuse of him in the 90's) but my love of Spiderman developed from the 70's cartoons. I have a special love for spidey's old foes, I guess they remind me of being a kid and watching spidey kick butt haha.

I'm with you on the Vulture. Don't have any desire to own #2.

 

Mysterio is a close 2nd. The guy is powerful, but yet never reaches his potential. He is the ultimate badass in the current Old Man Logan storyline, but other than that he's a dud too.
