well, that's what I'm saying , the OP sounded like he was interested in long term prospects and such.

Got it. Yeah, that’s definitely not the mindset you’d want to take. Buying in at some of these prices just seems like throwing money away.

Honestly, I read it and I don't get the appeal. I remember I bought two of the Frison variant #1 when it came out cause she was the hot artist at the time. I never bought anymore SIKTC and I don't intend to. A $1K for a 9.8, this absolutely absurd for something that wasn't even hard to find when it came out.

I agree I much prefer DoT and I love Once and Future.

Sorry, I meant I'm aching to watch the show so bad.

I'm so anti-Amazon, I won't pay for it.  This has SUPER challenged it.

If someone you know has it and can ADD you to their household (they can add 1), you can access to the Amazon Prime Video as well.

Darth Vader 1 (2015) is selling. A long $5 undervalued book in comparison to #3. Cool character, cool cover, multiple prints. Same for Star Wars 1 2015 that shouldn’t be a $5 comic

Oddly enough the variants haven't really followed suit. There are a ton of good covers available from this specific issue.

Just wait a few more months.... actually I wouldn’t sell now. Vader is the biggest SW character and if he gets his own movie or show.. it’ll go bananas

Idk I don't think the world is ready to see Darth Vader on the big screen. (:

I hadn't noticed that Sentry 1 was crazy again.  Prob for a bit.

Surprising part for me is the flip flop of interest for Cover B over the San Diego Comic Con version.  Anyone know what's driving that?

One of the 1st books that I enjoyed so much I bought quite a few copies when it came out (was still buying via mail service!).

I love all of the covers, so no real horse in the game.

Is Sentry really heating up beyond the CBSI list though? They seem to artificially inflate the market and people just believe it. But if true that's a shame, I have 2 of the SDCC variant. I'd think that would be more as I recall it wasn't too easy to find when it came out. Story of my life- always a day late and a dollar short (or always a bridesmaid, never a bride, I guess).

Yeah, the San Diego variant was going for some bucks awhile ago.

The Rosen (B) cover seems to be doing really well.

Overall, all are doing well.  Just surprised to see how much SD has dropped and Rosen has gained.

IMO, the Black Cover is still very strong for the obvious higher print run/availability.

That, or you, Marx, and Engels can share a subscription.

cover A always beats other open order covers in prices, unless the book has a 1st app and new character only appears on another open order cover.

Why would the less cool cover win?

Seeing Anakin become Vader in 2006 was one of the coolest things.

The I-III trilogy have aged well, for me.   Seeing Anakin go to town on the Tusken Raiders, and the drivers of that personal evolution, was an elegant piece of storytelling for me. 2c

I can understand it - with some of these variants, you can't even tell what book it's supposed to be. Maybe that's a "get off my lawn" mindset, but I get why people would want the book in the main form the publisher intended...
