I'm one issue behind. I just read #38, 39 and 40. I've loved this series from the start, but the last dozen or so issues have been for me.

 

These few issues were better, but it still wasn't anything close to what it was in the beginning. I'll stick with it until the end, but I wish I could say that I like it as much now as I did when the series began.

 

Thank God for Frison's covers though. The cover to #40 is

It seems like complete that the killer is Lester. ZZZZZZZ.

I hope the next few issues prove me wrong.

I'm not happy with how this is turning out.

It's still the first book I read in hopes it turns around or that I am surprised.

But I knew it was going to end so I figured I'd finish it. It's tough reading it these days.

Looked excellent to me, especially as it's just a concept piece and filming hasn't begun yet.

I also think it looked pretty good, only a minor gripe re: the music. It will only get better as they allocate a budget.

Yeah I loved the scythe addition. I think it looks better if you read the book and understand the plot. Without that it looks more like a B horror unless you investigate the story. And if its just a B horror I am happy with that. Seeley deserves at least that much after what the networks did to him.

Yeah, was just getting ready to post in the Moderns Heating Up thread. All of the cheap slabs have bene hoovered up off of eBay and MCS. Not sure about raws, I don't track those. Of course, I'm sure there are a butt ton of copies out there, but if anyone was still sitting on copies from the LAST spec go round, may be a chance to unload some. It's "only" a SyFy show, but there may be a bump worth exploiting. As for me, I really loved the series, so I'm keeping all of mine!
