NONONO, i bid on one of his books before and found the thread on here. my first experience with the cgc board saved me 8K.

i got it from an individual seller on ebay. hes waiting to see the cgc report to begin negotiating refund.

Good fortune can happen. I found mine raw in 2007. I was also afraid that the top edge was trimmed. Posted pics in the PGM and many who saw it thought they saw trimming. But I was rewarded with a Blue label!

5.0 is a nice grade but ugg on the trimming. Looking back those corners do like nice; especially on the back.

 

And I think a 5.0 in a purple label is going for a bit more than the other poster mentions. Although with trimming who knows.

 

If you don't mind, did you pay in the 4.0 range?

I paid in the 3.0 range for what i was hoping would be a 4.0 (unrestored)

a 5.0 restored moderate (A) just went on ebay for 4600 - although thats about 1.6K more than id want to pay for that.
