My friend just got this in Tuesday and man can MacFarlane do figures. The packaging has gone above and beyond what I expect, double boxed and the corners protect it with a hard plastic covers. My biggest regret is not buying this collection even the boxes are insanely awesome.

You are going to be soooo disappointed by the Wheelie figure. It is forever kneeling.  I would have been perfectly fine omitting it if they had added a sword and a rocket launcher.   It's a five point of articulation figure and it does have it's merits... but I REALLY would have liked a dedicated wheelie in this scale that could transform that would have been available as a separate purchase.

Make no mistake about it though, this is the definitive Grimlock.   At this price point, why even bother spending $200 on a Masterpiece?

Ah well. I wondered if that was the case, but was hoping he’d be more poseable. Still, a pretty cool accessory!

Agree completely on this line vs masterpieces. MP are cool, but the value in this line can’t be beat. The Hot Rod figure (or Rodimus, or whatever they’re calling him) is like a mini-masterpiece, maybe the figure of the year for me.

I took SDF-1 out of the box. I really think it was the fist time it was ever taken out of the box. The original, unused stickers are still in the box! I now have a new project. I can't remember the last time I applied a sticker to a vehicle. Would have been G.I. Joe, maybe 1990? It'll be fun. I suck at transforming toys, but I think I got it right. Battle mode and cruiser mode.

Fantastic! The SDF-1 is a classic.

I'm loving this line. I've been preordering via BBTS, they take longer to get here, but the price is fair (usually $60 for the wave, and $21 for deluxe figures). I somehow managed to miss the order for Clamp Champ, now he's sold out and selling for dumb money. So now I have to watch the pegs.

It's a cool line and I'm really impressed with the number of different characters they've already made and/or have in the pipeline, and $16 a pop is a bargain these days.

My Kickstarter Spawn figs arrived today after a year!! I bought the regular and classic figs, unsigned, which was the cheapest way to participate. I got everything in the campaign except one club weapon and the B&W toy comic that came with the artist proof figure. Apologies for the photos, with all the clamshell within clamshell I cannot do it justice.

Yeah and it's all resealable too. Even the comic comes in its own holder in there. To be fair ... Toddfather did collect an additional $0.65-1.4M above and beyond the $3.4M to fulfill

Is that a real signature  or a print?

Print out checklist of all the figure updates (print). Lots of people did opt for signed figures, they came with a signed plaque and an extra club weapon. But I went unsigned, which was the cheapest option.

One of the shops I go to got a set in yesterday, a set of three for $600. They showed the signature plaque, it's all a pretty snazzy product. I don't really do McFarlane or Spawn but that really is a nice temptation. I'd almost be tempted!
