Famous Funnies #49 Aug 1938 Fishing cover! Buck Rogers. One panel on page 4 was redrawn in Buck Rogers #3.

Nice color and pages are in the white range. There is a very little piece off the top of the spine, some dirt, not much, and a tiny corner crease bottom of the back cover. Really tiny piece off the bottom of the spine.Grade is Fine- (5.5) OSG in Fine is $111 ($101.75) Bin is $75

 

 

#55, the book is complete, but the first wrap is detached and was glued in to the front. I've never seen this before, it seems like it would be easy to remove. Pages are nice, free with #49.

This is a nice looking copy with great color and pages, and a few flaws. The centerfold is detached at 2 staples (there are 3 in this book), there is a small corner crease upper right, and a 1/4” tear through the spine, about midway, some lines on the spine and a small stain at the bottom. Grade is VG/F, (downgraded for the tear) OSG in Fine is $84, Bin is $65.00

Octopus cover, pages are in the white range, one of the 3 staples is detached at the centerfold. 3” corner crease upper right, some overall wear and a 1” tear at the top of the spine, 2 med.lg. stains on the back. Grade is Gd/VG, OSG is $40 in VG. I know Overstreet doesn't even put in a notation for her first appearance in #82, but she's one of the very first women with a “super power” in comics, maybe even the first, depending on what you consider USA having a superpower. bin is $65 Sold to Norrin's lawyer
