Found the info on the 7.5 over at Heritage. Seems like a steal at that price.

 

 

 

That was Dec 2010. August 2014 it sold for $4800.

 

Which IMHO is still a bargain.

You are most probably right since I saw it on Metro's Most Wanted List from one of their Monthly Newsletters, as being wanted in all grades.

 

Besides the usual big superhero keys which everybody should already know, the only other books on this list which I saw were Master Comics 27, Pep 22, Torch 12, Bill Barnes 7, Smash #1, any issue of Joker Comics, and Fishler's favorite of course, namely Fantastic 3.

 

Ace 11 is definitely a tough tough book to find and one that will always sell for multiples to guide. The VF guide price for those 2 sales were only around $500+ in 2010 and $800+ in 2014. Since the current VF guide price is now only at $1446, it will definitely continue to sell at big multiples to condition guide when available.

 

Interesting to note that the Church copy of this particular issue was only graded as a Fine copy by Chuck. So, this 7.5 copy might just be the best existing copy of this very hard to find key issue.

Think Tank is an underappreciated modern book. I'm a big fan of the story and the "science class" pages at the end of each book. Below is the Think Tank Ashcan. It may not be super sought after, but it took me a long time to track down, and I never see them listed for sale. It holds a special place in my collection.

This is probably my rarest book, unless it's the other Bell Bakeries Peter Wheat issue I own. 

I know for certain at least one other copy of this exists; the other issue I have I know at least two other copies exist.  So this one gets posted as my rarest.

The only one I can think of as 'rare' is a unique sig placement of a Stan Lee FF66 that I came across in my boxes. (cover sig which I hate and is my only one, but against art backdrop that almost looks custom made for his sig.)

Did you like Swank porno mag? All photo shoots started out with woman prim and proper with clothes on then as shoot progressed her clothes came off and she became slutty. 

Used to blow my mind as a kid and other things got blown too

This is my rarest book in my collection. Feature Funnies  #10 from 1938. The CGC census shows only 1 graded and it’s a 4.5.
