Really would appreciate any input you guys might have on this one.

 

First 2 are scans, rest are pics.

Both staples attached in/out, no tape, tears, stains, writing or stamps.

This is a tough one for me. No major pieces missing but enough cumulative significant defects may prevent from going above a 1.8, maybe a 2.0...

Thanks everyone, I truly appreciate it.

 

Had this book at 2.5 myself but it appears many think it just GD 2.0. The gunk/peeling on back cover was the main reason I graded it in the strong GD instead of weak VG range.

 

Had this other Hulk 3 book (sold it) I considered a 1.8, and the ST110 is just so far superior - like much cleaner and less surface crinkles, more solid and structurally sound, and less edge tears/chipping.

 

But this is nothing new, in any grade the books that fit that grade can vary widely at times (nice book with major flaw is VG along with a FN w/subcrease or moderately worn typical VG book).

I have a CGC 3.5 in front of me and yours looks a lot more beat then mine.

 

2.5? 3.0 tops.

Thanks bud! On the Strange Tales I agree with you - I was at 2.5 when I sold it, but with the input I've revised my opinion to G/G+.

 

And congrats on the 3.5 ! Cool book on which to spend a few dollars. : )

 

Will keep my eye out for that DD in 9.6 you mentioned.
