heard of him but never read any of the comics. What's it about? can anyone give me a quick synopsis on the story coming from a fan of the comic.

Not really a super hero book. This political speech writer gets abducted by aliens and his brain is transplanted into this synthetic concrete like body. He struggles with how to use this for good. He struggles with his inability to be normal in society and his inability to be with a woman now. The series is very much about internal conflict and it is something anyone who has felt outcast or suffered from a disability could relate to.

Hrm...interesting character. I might have to take a look at it. Sounds more of a character relation to the reader type comic. I will try to pick this up...
