Shouldn't Superman vs Amazing Spiderman be worth more?

I mean-first ever crossover. Anyone who lived during that time remembers how surreal and epic it was. And, one day there will be a CROSSOVER MOVIE....

I mean anything that makes money and I can't see a Superman Spiderman movie not making money. And if Marvel is in charge, it won't be a DC dud movie.

lol

They can barely get the Marvel characters controlled by other studios to appear with MCU characters and you think there will be a Marvel/DC crossover movie?

but as a corporate clash, it's potential is Yuuge! It's always a question of demand, nothing more or less. . Between the two? Superman needs far less time on the psychiatric couch. . It's all in the hands of lawyers, how nice. If it;s CG compiled, I'll hate it. Pass the Conan Please.

I'm going thru my longbox and trying to pump up the volume on stuff. 300 issues to go.

I love 'em both! Worth more and worth less threads, that is.

If they ever slab treasuries, it will be. And that Wizard of Oz treasury will skyrocket first, as it is the first Marvel/DC joint project and relatively uncommon.

And I do think the movie comes one day a long time from now. Of course, I also think Groot and Rocket will be in the Han and Chewy roles in the Star Wars franchise eventually.

As to oughtta be worth less, how about the '68 Marvel keys? All of 'em. :tonofbricks:

They are difficult to store without treasury sized bags and boards and boxes which most collectors don't have and so therefore they are difficult to sell*

*They sell for less than comparable books from the same era by the same artists and featuring the same characters.

I do wonder if the Treasury format helps or hurts the value. I love the book, but I was a child of the bronze age.

Hurts! Very few collectors specialize in treasuries and so the normal bag/board/box supplies all of us have aren't available? The question becomes- how do you store larger than normal comics without buying specialist supplies (for just one or two books in some cases.)

I'm guessing that if they ever do grade Treasury-sized comics we will find out they are impossible to find in (real/not ebay) high grade. Stock up on them now!

They are impossible to store and so they are impossible to sell.

Hardly! I store mine in big treasury bags, in a big treasury box, and buy them all the time. I've sold my fair share, too, including this one...

I'll reword it to read "difficult to sell" since people are apparently taking my words literally.

If priced right, treasuries sell very well actually.

Do treasuries have the same demand as other books? Maybe, maybe not. But the supply and demand side of the equation is what is important and they sell well for the supply available.
