the upper rear cover is a tiny bit ragged and I see blunting on three corners although it's really minor. The cover doesn't seem to sit quite square but it sure looks white.  

 Mine has been pressedat this point .  I have one tiny blunt in the spine front corner. All others are square. The cover sits better. it has one very small chip on the back cover. Nice and white. I thought it could pull a possible 9.4.

Wrong.

 Based on that slab, which I got back about two weeks ago I got a 9.0 , I'd give this an 8.5. It could as easily pull a 9.0. Very nice book. Mine was in that box of comics in the abandoned school bus.  The price was right. Who knows?
