Love the JLA kit Ghastly. I assume you got that right next to from Dave & Adam/Carbo. I think I saw it in their case but forgot to ask. I hope you got a good price on it. I was going to bring some of that and toys but have found there is very little interest in that room for that stuff.

Congrats on your pickups.  That Junior JSA kit is very cool.  I missed that one completely.

Yes I did but not until yesterday. Based on what I saw a similar one sell for on Heritage in 2002 for $1,265 that did not include the mailing envelope, I think I did well and I’m very happy!

Thanks BB.  I think you had the best inventory of Bakers in the room.  Also great selection of GI Jane (wish my pictures were sharper!).

Terry's Con Report Part 8 - Terry's Wall

Getting to look at Terry's GA books was like being in the "In Crowd."  You had to be on "The List" to get into his inner sanctum.  I got in only because @Ricksneatstuff and @Robot Man vouched for me.  It was like getting into a trendy speakeasy, you know, where you have to know the password to get into the door, and all the pretty leggy girls are wearing short dresses with Jimmy Choos, and they're pouring Pappy Van Wrinkle.

Okay, not really.  Terry had to limit access because he had limited staff.  (But sipping bourbon while shifting through long boxes isn't a crazy idea.  Maybe next year ....)

Anyway, since I spent most of my time at the con looking through Terry's GA boxes, I was able to take a lot of pictures of his wall books.  Here they are:

I don't know how you got in. He wouldn't let me look until the doors opened and by then I had to go open up my booth. Up his, I went else where to spend my 50 bucks. Seriously, I could spend all day in his booth alone. I suspect the big reason he does this show is so he can bring his entire inventory because it is literally in his back yard. He never has this much stuff at other cons I see him at.

He's come a long way from when he used to have a dozen boxes of beaters at the Shrine. Definitely the best overall inventory at the show, something for everyone. It didn't look like a single person left the "inner sanctum" empty handed.

Not sure what you’re talking about?? His name and address are very clear and legible! Maybe you have a bad phone?
