A while ago I asked the gal at the LCS What was a good read and she raved about Blankets. Always stuck in my mind to give it a shot . Anybody read it?

Blankets is a terrific book, it just sorta depends on what you're into. It's a beautifully illustrated (in a deceptively "simple", clean style), melancholic coming-of-age romance story, definitely pulls at the heartstrings. If that sounds like the sort of thing you might like, give it a shot!

Absolutely fantastic. It's a coming of age story. A little teen romance, a little teen angst. Well done is an understatement. With that said, it's not for everyone.

Agreed. It's a great book! I reread again a few months ago. Highly recommend it.
