I have a Fantastic Four #112 with a similar sized chip in the same spot. It was graded CGC 8.0. I agree that it likely happened during printing, especially considering it's located in the same general area that you normally see the machine "roller" marks/indentations.

Tales of Suspense #96 CGC NM- 9.2: $175

Book was NOT pressed (I did submit it myself).

Really thought this one would be an easy 9.4 as it looks better than many 9.4's copies that I have seen or that you can currently find available for sale on eBay. My loss, your gain on this gorgeous book. Crack it and put it in a Mylar.

X-Men #17 VF+ : $150 SOLD

Scan does not give credit to the book. Red and black colors are deeper on the real book (looks orange in the scan). Printer's creases at bottom look worse on scan. My scanner sucks with red and/or black covers :pullhair:
