How much of a body do you have left?

I like owning physical books.  But I don't re-read or display them.  If a safe deposit box were cheap enough, I'd just store my books there.  Is immediate access to your books important to you? I ask because I am thinking of starting a remote-storage business for comic books.  Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome...

A-1 comics in Sacramento is in an old bank.

If you are going to store books, do likewise and buy a bank with a vault.

You still need to work out the insurance issue though.

Mmmmm, the smell of a bronze age comic is nothing to be sniffed at.

Yup.  Got me there.

As much as I focus on digital comics now, that’s the nostalgic, extra-special, newsstand, newsprint odour from my childhood.

Irreplaceable.

Did not know that one ... one day I should visit the store to see for myself.

in Calgary AB (in Canada) ... there is one fancy restaurant which is in old bank building. My father and I had dined there. They have the original bank vault in the back of restaurant next to their kitchen. I asked a waiter what it was used for, he told me they use it for their wines, the vault was lined with cooling system to keep wines in low temperatures.

Yep and for extra security he keeps the vault door open!!!  They did have a break in there-thiefs came in thru roof, stole magic cards.

Interesting idea.

It would beat the smell of ozone from a defective tablet, at least.
