One book for a friend (to clarify, this is the guy who is the reason I got my Batman #'s 4,11,17 and 18 a couple months ago; he found the all-or-nothing deal and welcomed me to buy in).

Tonight, I am offering for him his Captain America #100 cgc 9.4 white pages. Book has not been pressed.

Rules will be most similar to my usual, except I will connect the winner and seller so they can transact directly.

First :takeit:wins; tie/indeterminate goes to the thread

Payment: Teller's check or Money Order.

Shipping: USPS Priority Shipping included.

Return Policy: No returns on slabbed unless damaged in transit.

No PL/HOS folks or other ne'er-do-wells.

Here's John's book -- Cap 100 CGC 9.4 white pages. Submitted  as-is, unpressed. (Though I had the book in hand today and will add that I agree with its owner that it would not benefit from a press.)

I took the pix; there are some Newton Rings; couldn't capture them too well but look above Cap's shield. Case is nice.

Comps -- cheapest cgc 9.4 on ebay currently is asking $2250 ($1995 on MCS); the Bowling Green Pedigree copy (also CGC 9.4 white) is sale pending on C-Link at $1,966.

Now granted, that one is a pedigree (Bowling Green) but with all due respect to SA peds, we're not talking about a Church book; SA peds are not outliers to the same degree as GA ones typically can be. We are talking about a comparable book (less any cachet one assigns for the ped) at $316 less.
