Diaolos
Hi everyone? I was sorting my ASM run and I noticed that I have two ASM 143 but the background Colours differ. One is blue while the other is purple. Is this a printing error? What colour is it supposed to be. Thanks in advance for your feedback
THE_BEYONDER
As in your collection, I think these exist in equal numbers. CGC does not distinguish between the 2. I’ve always preferred the deep purple. Morganmi and Larryw7
MR SigS
I know CBCS considers the purple Sandman #1 a "variant" on their label- Does CGC? I hope the answer is 'no'.
Gaard
CGC doesn't distinguish between the two Thor 225.
BabaLament
Is this what happens when the printer ink starts running dry, like my printer at home? ADAMANTIUM

badback83
I think it’s the same thing when you have the red vs orangish backgrounds on Secret Wars 8. Probably an ink issue during printing.
Lightning55
If it was just the ink running out, you might have a few covers printed before it DID run out. Then you would see the problem and correct it. Each cover would vary in saturation as the supply of ink diminished. But in these cases, a large part of the print run is identically "different". If so many are printed differently, either the ink supply did not match the specs, or the colorist's number code got misinterpreted, human error.
