I meant the one who looks like he will be in a sequel. But yea Keaton was awesome and far better than vulture in comics ever was imo.

I agree.  I've always wondered why they thought a winged senior citizen would make a good villain?  Apparently Keaton resets the narrative!

Definitely, check the graders notes and might crack/press if it looks pressable. Could bump. It presents very well.

AF Peter was such a different type of guy than the character in Homecoming.  But the movie does take place after he's had his powers for awhile, maybe the movie character acted like this when he first got his powers

 

I really like Ditko's drawing here.  Told like a typical 50's story vs a superhero's origin.

I agree it looks great.

I don't like the space capsule story much, but it's interesting to me that it was published only 7 months after USA first partially successful unmanned rocket to the moon (crash landing), and over 6 years before Neil and Buzz landed on the moon in 1969.

This issue is really top notch.  The switch to 1 full story instead of 2 made a big difference.  I'm guessing this was the first story made knowing Spidey was successful and in his own series.  The art and story had great depth imo.

Got this as part of a trade. love it. really nice 5.5. graded back in Sept 2003.

traded my jim83 cgc 9.0 restored (amateur resto; color touch on cover and glue on spine) for this, tomb of dracula 10 (cgc 9.6) and asm129 (cgc 9.0). worked out well.
