PGM Giant Size Xmen 1 (yes, another one )

This is my first time doing this. I hope I do it right.....

I was considering dropping this off at CGC at SDCC. BUT, second inspection I noticed the small imperfection below Wolverine claws and the "pinpoint" in Storm. I had already seen the problem in the price area. It's these 3 things that are noticeable.

I look forward to hearing from the community.

I am not sure how many images are allowed.  I don't have a scanner.

To me looks like a pretty nice book. I'd say it's still worth dropping off for sure. I'm not a pressing expert but perhaps someone who is will chime in. Looks like a perfect candidate to me.

I'd say 6.5

some of the area in the price part I don't know how a press would react there, storm is a Pinhole? press won't help, the Wolverine claw's one I think a press would help, but again I don't know if your got it pressed how it would help up by the price... sigh

either way I'd say this is a decent 6.5

hopefully someone comes along who does a lot of pressing :)

Thanks for sharing your opinion.  Initially I had thought it to be 7.0

But, I am thinking 6.5 now as well.....

I wouldn't press this book, the square bound spine is actually straight on this one.

Great looking book. Nice vibrant cover. I'd give it a 7.0 with the issues you pointed out.

I would see what it looked like after dry cleaning and pressing -- I would think it would be in the 8.0 range.  Maybe I'm too generous, but it is a nice looking book.

I received the Giant Size X-Men 1 and I am very happy with the 7.5 Grade that it was given!

Did you have it pressed and cleaned...? Either way I'm happy for you congrats on the book!!

Good for you! That's on the higher side that what most people were guessing so you must be happy. I don't personally own the Giant Size issue but it's on my greatest hits list. Next up for me is X-Men 94..
