I've never collected fanzines, but recently read Bill Schelly's book about comic fandom and really enjoyed it...it has quite a few images of early fanzine covers and interior art:

It's interesting that several (many?) professional comic writers and artists started out in comic fandom...

Thanks for the additions.  Some of the Comic Readers have value and/or have first appearances.  For instance #139 has the first appearance of Black Lightning and #179 has the April Fool's Stan Lee obituary cover
