I'm taking a break at 9pm, some quiz game my husband is addicted to has comic book questions tonight in honor of Stan Lee:)

But that won't take long;) 

First book.

Adventure #276, Superboy is marooned in space with a robot. 1960, great color, pages in the OW range. Adventure #277, 1960, Spaceships and Aliens. There is an ad for JLA #1. Nice color, and some dirt. There is also an X in a circle (whatever that means;) very light pages. Grade is Fine + (6.5) or a little better. Bin is $30.00 Sold to Norrin's Lawyer.

Adventure #278, 1960, Supergirl AND Robot cover. Great colors, there is a longish corner crease with a small tear at the bottom, small piece off the upper left corner of the back cover. There is a 1” cover split at the top and the top staple is detached. Grade is Gd/VG but it looks a lot better. Bin is $15.00

Some game called HQ?  Doesn't everyone have an addiction to it ? Millions of people seem to play it, or at least millions get the wrong answers;)

 

Adventure #282, 1961, 5th Legion, first Starboy. This is a very nice copy, great color,a small stain on the top of the back cover and a slight bend there that could be removed, pages are light in the OW range. Grade is Fine/VF (7.0) Bin is $145.00

He's not retired, lol...but he's cut down to working about 50 hours a week;)

Adventure #283, 1961, 1st appearance of General Zod, 1st Phantom Zone. Nice color, lower staple is detached and there is a very small tear right edge, slight spine roll. Grade is Gd/VG (3.0) or a little better, Bin is $175.00 sold to dinesh_s.

Not me.  I miss quite a few of those movies. 

Our theatre closed down about 10 years ago, but there is a group working to get it back up and running.

I rarely  remember trivia in movies, but I knew the answer to "I AM GROOT";) . It's a fun game if you like the pressure, I don't, but I tried to help him in this one, not that I'm much help;) 

 

Adventure #284, 1961. Red Kryptonite story, last Aquaman in Adventure. Superboy gets amnesia from the Red Kryptonite and goes to reform school. Nice copy with a tiny bit of color loss in that little mark at the top (paper is there) 1/2” tear at the bottom, slight tanning halo inside covers. Pages are OW /CR grade is Fine (6.0) or a little better. Bin is $40.00
