And yet if you have horrid looking color scrape done by their partner company, they will happily reward your fugly looking book with a CGC 7.0 grade:  :fear:  :screwy:

It's not unheard of to have a really sharp book get knocked down to an 8.0 due to a fairly small flaw...

also not unheard of for notes not to document every flaw.  Specially the obvious ones.  Like if cover is missing I dont think the notes will document "cover missing".
