Thanks..Luckily I have A INSANELY Nice #1..I remember the #1 on the squeaky comic rack at the small store next to my house,I was (and am) a BIG Hulk fan but can't remember if I ever bought it new? I only remember buying # 10 off the rack..hm

... This issue is also the first Marvel Comics appearance of Shang-Chi's evil father, Fu Manchu.
... Shang-Chi and Fu Manchu make chronologically earlier appearances in the next issue, Special Marvel Edition #16.
... The real Doctor Petrie makes his first appearance in Giant-Size Master of Kung Fu #3.
... First Marvel Comics appearance of British agent Denis Nayland Smith.
... With issue #17 of this series, the title changes to Master of Kung Fu.
... It is believed that Shang-Chi kills Doctor Petrie in this issue. However this is later revealed to be a robot. The real Doctor Petrie makes his first canonical appearance in Giant-Size Master of Kung Fu #3.
... First appearance of Tak.
