That is a sweet setup, but do you have any reservations about keeping those comics in direct sunlight? My slabs are like Gremlins: no water, no light and I never feed them after midnight! And, I finally got one of my grails (poster-wise), the 1975 Marvel Comicon! Not mint, but no tears or pinholes, not too bad condition. Here is what I started with, the home is very old. I believe the "built-in" cabinets were gun racks at one time. Apologies for the terrible pics: Awesome lavender, I know.... Painted. Moved old junk out, moved new junk in: Been a while since I took those..... Here is the first display cabinet. I just picked the first couple slabs I had to space shelves and see if I liked the lights.... More to come..... The room will serve as an office for me, but I'm aiming for a sort of lounge feel. to do: 1. Window coverings 2. Custom storage 3. Picture ledges 4. Some kind of framed art 5. Cabinet bar 6. Hang TV The storage is really the thing slowing me down right now. I'm not all that handy, and it has been difficult to get a quote for a custom cabinet.
