Arthur Adams Joins CGC Cards for an In-House Private Signing

CGC Cards™ is thrilled to announce that the Signature Series team will be hosting an exclusive In-House Private Signing event with the incredibly talented comic book artist Arthur Adams, who first broke into the American comic book industry with the 1985 Marvel Comics miniseries, Longshot. Since then, he has gone on to become one of the most respected names in the industry.

Adams is best known for his work on some of Marvel’s biggest titles like The Uncanny X-Men, Excalibur, X-Factor, Fantastic Four, Hulk and Ultimate Comics: X. Adams has created card artwork for some of the most iconic characters and franchises. He did all of the artwork for the 1989 Arthur Adams Trading Card set published by Comic Images, is featured prominently in the 1991 Impel Marvel Universe Series II set, and he also did a few cards for the 2013 Marvel Fleer set, the 2006 Godzilla King of the Monsters set, and several other trading card sets as well. He has upcoming covers on The Walking Dead Deluxe #100 for Image Comics and Batman: The Long Halloween - The Last Halloween #3 for DC Comics later this year. 

CGC Cards must receive all submissions for this event by Friday, October 4, 2024.

If the In-House Private Signing needs to be rescheduled, CGC Cards will securely store all submissions in its vault until the event can be rescheduled.

After Adams signs the submitted cards, CGC Cards will grade and encapsulate them with an estimated turnaround time of six weeks. After grading and encapsulation, the collectibles will be shipped back to their owners.

The CGC Cards In-House Private Signing fee for Arthur Adams is $70 per item and includes:

• Arthur Adams’ signature
• Estimated turnaround time of six weeks for CGC Cards grading
• Encapsulation with the CGC Signature Series label

To submit cards for the signing:

• Log onto your account or sign up for an account HERE.
• Click Submit in the CGC Cards website navigation and select the Submission Form.
• Click on the link to the CGC Cards Online Form.
• Select Card or Jumbo Card from the menu, then select CGC SIgnature Series and one of the following from the dropdown menu section:
  ARTHUR ADAMS, SIGNATURE.
• Select "Authentication and Grading" under Select Primary Service.
  
• Select "Mail-In or Show Drop-Off" under Select Submission Method.
• Enter the information requested for your card.
• Select Add to Cart, and then repeat if there are additional cards in your submission. If there are no additional cards in your submission, click on the cart icon and proceed to checkout.
• Carefully package cards in a box for shipment. 
• IMPORTANT: Please write AA on all sides of the outside of the box. You must initial outside of the box or we will not be able to honor the submission for this signing.
• Cards will be received into the CGC Cards system when they arrive and will be safely stored by CGC Cards until the event. (Please note: Payments are processed as they normally are at the time of the collectibles' arrival at CGC.)
• Once cards are signed they will start an expedited CGC Cards grading process.

PLEASE NOTE:

All submissions must be received by CGC Cards no later than Friday, October 4, 2024, to qualify for this private signing event. No change requests will be accepted after Friday, October 4, 2024.

*Cannot be combined with other CGC Private Signing events.

**If you submit a CGC-graded collectible that needs to be removed from its original holder by CGC, the collectible will need to go through the certification and encapsulation process again, and there is no guarantee that it will receive the same grade.
