CGC's Express Drop-Off for Show Submissions

Now, even free members will be able to use Express Drop-off

No one wants to waste time on paperwork at a convention. With this in mind, CGC is giving all its members free access to its online form for show submissions, starting Aug. 21.

The online form lets collectors fill out paperwork for CGC services ahead of time, and bring it to the show with their collectibles. The online form also has lower handling fees than the paper form used at shows, and it helps speed up CGC’s processing, saving both time and money.

Previously, this online form was only available to those at the Associate Membership level and higher. Now, it is also available for show submissions at the Free Membership level, which has the unbeatable price of $0 a year.

Those with Free Memberships get full access to online resources at CGCcomics.com and the ability to submit collectibles for CGC services at comic book shows and similar events. With this latest change, submitting at those shows will be even easier.

The online form also allows collectors to track their submission throughout the process at CGC, and get email updates and a shipping tracking number once the collectible is on its way home. The online form can also handle orders involving multiple grading tiers.

Here’s the easiest way to submit your collectible at shows:

Step 1: If you’re not currently a member, join at CGCcomics.com/Join.

Step 2: Check out the list of shows where CGC personnel can accept submissions at CGCcomics.com/Events.

Step 3: Fill out the online form at CGComics.com/orderform.

Step 4: Skip the line, and submit your books using Express Drop-off.

Of course, those with Associate and higher-level memberships continue to have full submission privileges — both at shows and by mail — in addition to discounts and other benefits.
