CGC Companies Accepting Submissions at San Diego Comic-Con

You can submit your comics, cards, video games and VHS and Betamax videocassettes to CGC at San Diego Comic-Con, July 20-23, 2023!

Are you ready to join us at the biggest comic convention in the world? Certified Guaranty Company® (CGC®) is excited to be accepting submissions of comics, magazines, TCGs, sports cards, non-sports cards, video games and home video at San Diego Comic-Con at the San Diego Convention Center, in San Diego, California, on July 20-23, 2023.

You'll find CGC at Booth #901 and CGC Signature Series at Booth #4315.

San Diego Comic-Con is the biggest comic book celebration of the year, and CGC is coming ready for fun! At CGC Booth #901, you can participate in lots of exciting activities and giveaways, including our popular CGC pin giveaway and our CGC Cards treasure hunt. Elite CCG members can also grab a special pin, while supplies last. Plus, enter to win our Mega Signed CGC Signature Series Book at the booth (the winner will be pulled at the end of the year), and if you submit your collectibles using our Express Drop-Off Service, you will receive an exclusive CGC sticker, while supplies last.

Also at the booth, you can join us for "Meet the Grader" with CGC President Matt Nelson and pick up a copy of his book "The Official CGC Guide to Grading Comic Books." Nelson will also be doing exclusive book signings.

Preparing Submissions for the Show

To spend more time enjoying the show, submit your prepared collectibles through the Express Drop-Off Service, which enables you to skip the line and quickly hand off your prepared submission to a representative.

To streamline submissions at the show, please take the following steps before arriving:

  1. Become a paid CGC member here.
  2. Go to the online submission form for comicsTCGs and non-sports cardssports cardsvideo games or home video.
  3. Select “Mail-In or Show Drop-Off” to start your submission.
  4. Complete the submission form and print the packing slips.

    Important: To ensure that your submission process stays on schedule, please place your collectibles in the order listed on the packing slip. Please bring BOTH copies of the packing slip with your collectibles to the show drop-off. Failure to do so will result in delays.

  5. Keep your collectibles safe and secure until you drop off your submission (including the packing slip) with a representative.
  6. Go to the Express Drop-Off sign to finalize your submission.

All submissions will be transported to the companies’ headquarters in Sarasota, Florida, for authentication, grading and encapsulation.
