CGC Introduces New Online Submission Form for Witnessed Signings at Shows

CGC Signature Series collectors can now use the CGC online submission form to submit collectibles at show signings! After filling out the easy-to-use form, simply bring your collectible to the show you’re attending to get it signed in the presence of a CGC Authorized Witness and graded with the iconic CGC Signature Series label. Plus, up to 75 signatures can be added to each collectible in your submission, making this a great option for fans to stack their collectible with all of their favorite signatures.

In the past, when collectors would submit their collectibles for witnessed signatures at shows, they would have to fill out a paper form at the CGC booth to accompany their submission. Now, collectors can complete orders online before the show to spend more time enjoying the show — and not filling out forms!

Here’s what to do:

1. If you don’t already have a CGC account, become a CGC member here. All you need is a free membership to submit or choose a paid membership to save on grading and pressing services!
2. Go to the online submission form for comics.
3. Select “Signature Series Submission.”
4. Select “CGC Show Witnessed Signing” and then select the show you are attending from the drop-down menu.
5. Select grading and any additional services you would like to add to your order, such as CGC Pressing.
6. Complete the submission form and write down your order number.

   
   Important: You must bring your order number to the CGC show booth to finalize your submission.

7. Keep your collectibles safe and secure until you bring your submission and order number to the CGC show booth. At the booth, give your order number to a CGC Signature Series representative.
8. The CGC Signature Series representative will verify your order and print your packing slips (giving you one for your records) and your submission is done!

Tablets are provided at CGC booths for submitters to use for sign-up and submission purposes but filling out your form(s) ahead of time significantly streamlines the process.

After the show, all submissions are transported to CGC headquarters in Sarasota, Florida, for authentication, grading and encapsulation. To learn more about CGC Comics services and fees, click here.
