CGC Accepting Submissions at MCM Comic Con London!

Certified Guaranty Company® (CGC®) is excited to be accepting submissions of comics, magazines and cards at MCM Comic Con, being held at ExCel London in London, England, on May 24-26, 2024.

MCM Comic Con is a popular fan convention that celebrates various aspects of pop culture, including movies, comics, TV shows, video games and anime. It originated in the UK but has expanded to other countries as well. At MCM Comic Con, attendees can immerse themselves in a vibrant and diverse environment filled with exhibitions, panels, screenings and interactive experiences. Exhibition halls are filled with booths and stands featuring merchandise, collectibles, artwork, comic books and memorabilia from popular franchises.

Fans also won't want to miss lots of fun happening at the CGC booth all weekend long! In addition to our popular pin giveaway, we will have the limited-edition 2024 pins to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Wolverine and the 85th anniversary of Batman. We also have a special treat for our comics fans! Join us for “The Art of Grading with CGC Comics” panel on Friday, May 24, from 4:00-4:45 p.m. on the Artist Alley Stage for an exciting dive into the art of grading and preserving your comic books with CGC Comics Vice President Shawn Caffrey. Learn what to look for when collecting comics and the many benefits of grading from one of our top experts. Plus, audience members will get the chance to win fun CGC Comics prizes!

Looking to get books signed?

CGC Signature Series Witnesses will be available to observe your collectibles getting signed. Be sure to stop by the CGC booth prior to having your comics and magazines signed for grading.

Preparing submissions for the show

To spend more time enjoying the show, submit your prepared collectibles through the Express Drop-off Service, which enables you to skip the line and quickly hand off your prepared submission to a CGC representative.

Please take the following steps before arriving:

1. Create a CGC account here. All it takes is a free account to submit, and paid members get additional discounts and benefits.
2. Go to the online submission form for comics or cards.
3. Select “Mail-In or Show Drop-Off” to start your submission.
4. Complete the submission form and print the packing slips.

Important: To ensure that your submission process stays on schedule, please place your collectibles in the order listed on the packing slip. Please bring BOTH copies of the packing slip with your collectibles to the show drop-off. Failure to do so will result in delays.

5. Keep your collectibles safe and secure until you drop off your submission (including the packing slip) with a representative.
6. Go to the Express Drop-off sign to finalize your submission.

All submissions will be transported to CGC’s headquarters in Sarasota, Florida, for authentication, grading and encapsulation.
