CGC Cards Announces Second In-House Private Signing with Comic Book Artist Rob Liefeld

CGC Cards™ is thrilled to announce our second exclusive In-House Private Signing with legendary comic book creator, writer and artist Rob Liefeld! Best known as the creator of Marvel’s top mutant superstars Deadpool, Cable, Domino, Stryfe, Shatterstar and Major X, Liefeld will be signing comic books and trading cards featuring his art. Card submissions are now available, and fans can select the option on the CGC Cards online submission form.

For this signing, submitters can send in official trading cards featuring Liefeld's art, which CGC Cards will encapsulate with our distinctive yellow CGC Signature Series Label. (For instructions to submit comic books for this signing, click here.)

Liefeld’s 37-year career spans work on many of the industry’s top-tier comic franchises from both DC and Marvel, including X-Men, Captain America, The Avengers, Spider-Man, X-Force, Wolverine, Teen Titans and Hawkman. He single-handedly reinvigorated the New Mutants franchise, transforming it into X-Force, which launched with sales of 5 million copies. To this day, X-Force remains the #2 best-selling comic book of all time.

Liefeld started Image Comics with his fellow peers, launching new franchises such as Prophet, Avengelyne, Youngblood, Brigade and Bloodstrike. Recently, he announced that he would be retiring from Deadpool after spending decades working on the beloved character. Fans can watch Liefeld’s Deadpool in the highly anticipated Deadpool 3 movie, slated to hit theaters this summer!

CGC Cards must receive all submissions for this event by Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

If the In-House Private Signing needs to be rescheduled, CGC Cards will securely store all submissions in its vault until the event can be rescheduled.

After Rob Liefeld signs the submitted cards, CGC Cards will grade and encapsulate them with an estimated turnaround time of six weeks. After grading and encapsulation, the collectibles will be shipped back to their owners.

The CGC Cards In-House Private Signing fee for Rob Liefeld is $110 per item and includes:

• Rob Liefeld's signature
• Estimated turnaround time of six weeks for CGC Cards grading
• Encapsulation with the CGC Signature Series label

To submit cards for the signing:

• Log onto your account or sign up for an account HERE.
• Click Submit in the CGC Cards website navigation and select Submission Form.
• Click on the link to the CGC Cards Online Form.
• Select "Mail-In or Show Drop-Off" under Select Submission Method.
• Select "Grading" under Select Primary Service.
• Choose "Rob Liefeld Signing" under Select Tier.
• Enter the information requested for your card.
• Select Add to Cart, and then repeat if there are additional cards in your submission. If there are no additional cards in your submission, click on the cart icon and proceed to checkout.
• Carefully package cards in a box for shipment. If you need a CGC Cards shipping kit, they can be purchased HERE.
• IMPORTANT: Please write RL on all sides of the outside of the box. You must initial outside of the box or we will not be able to honor the submission for this signing.
• Cards will be received into the CGC Cards system when they arrive and will be safely stored by CGC Cards until the event. (Please note: Payments are processed as they normally are at the time of the collectibles' arrival at CGC.)
• Once cards are signed they will start an expedited CGC Cards grading process.

PLEASE NOTE:

All submissions must be received by CGC Cards no later than Tuesday, May 21, 2024, to qualify for this private signing event. No change requests will be accepted after Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

*Cannot be combined with other CGC Private Signing events.

**If you submit a CGC-graded collectible that needs to be removed from its original holder by CGC, the collectible will need to go through the certification and encapsulation process again, and there is no guarantee that it will receive the same grade.

****Marker color requests are welcome, but not guaranteed. Marker color choice and signature placement is at the final discretion of the signer.
