Submit your comics for on-site grading and get them back before the end of the show! CGC x JSA are also offering on-site autograph services and accepting regular submissions at HeroesCon in Charlotte, North Carolina, on June 20-22!

Getting collectibles signed?

On-site CGC x JSA autograph services are available Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Plus, CGC Signature Series will be at the show with witnesses ready to put eyes on your prize(s)! Be sure to get your collectibles prepped with the CGC Signature Series online submission form to save you a lot of time at the show! On-site grading at HeroesCon

CGC is offering on-site grading for all comic book submissions on a first-come, first-served basis. CGC expects extremely high demand and space is limited, so submitters are encouraged to submit at the start of the show. If on-site grading submissions need to be cut off earlier than the deadlines listed below, submissions will still be accepted for grading at CGC headquarters at the regular fees and turnaround times.

Submission deadlines, turnaround times and pick-up for on-site grading

As you get ready to submit comics for on-site grading, note CGC’s submission deadlines, turnaround times and pick-up information:

  • End of Day – Submit your comics by 2:00 p.m. on Friday or Saturday, or by 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, under the High Value, High Value ReHolder or Unlimited Value tier to receive your submission back the same day.
  • End of Show – Submit your comics before the show closes on Friday or Saturday, or by 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, to receive your submission back by 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Submissions received after 2:00 p.m. on Friday or Saturday will be ready to pick up the following day. To pick up your submission, go to the CGC Submission Pick-up Room #W205A during these hours:

  • Friday: 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.
  • Saturday: 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.
  • Sunday: 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. (regular show hours)

Important: Any submissions not picked up by 6 p.m. on Sunday will incur additional shipping and handling fees.

JSA on-site services for memorabilia

Memorabilia needing JSA-only services can be authenticated on-site Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Items submitted as Basic Certification are processed and finalized the same day, while items submitted for the Letter of Authenticity are observed the same day, with final documented results sent later by mail. Preparing regular submissions for the show

CGC will be accepting regular submissions of comics, magazines, TCGs, sports cards, non-sports cards, video games and home video collectibles for grading. Autographed comics and cards may be submitted for CGC x JSA Authentic Autograph certification, and autographed memorabilia may be submitted for JSA-only services.

Why wait in line with your submission? Submit your prepared collectibles through the Express Drop-off Service and quickly hand off your collectibles to a CGC x JSA representative. Simply take the following steps before arriving:

  1. Create a CGC account here. All it takes is a free account to submit, and paid members get additional discounts and benefits.
  2. Go to the online submission form for comicscardsvideo games or home video. (For JSA memorabilia submissions, just bring your item to the show.)
  3. Select “Mail-In or Show Drop-Off” to start your submission. Please note that you’ll have the option to choose JSA autograph authentication for comics and cards after choosing your primary grading services.
  4. Complete the submission form and print the packing slips.

  5. Important: To ensure that your submission process stays on schedule, please place your collectibles in the order listed on the packing slip. Please bring BOTH copies of the packing slip with your collectibles to the show drop-off. Failure to do so will result in delays.

  6. Keep your collectibles safe and secure until you drop off your submission (including the packing slip) with a representative.
  7. Go to the Express Drop-off sign to finalize your submission.

All regular submissions will be transported to CGC’s headquarters in Sarasota, Florida, for authentication, grading and encapsulation.
