CGC Comics Registry Featured Set: Batman Hush 2 (2025) All Variants
Posted on 10/1/2025
We can’t keep quiet about this month’s featured CGC Comics Registry set of Batman Hush 2 variants. Showcasing every cover in sharp high grade, workingdog’s collection, Batman Hush 2 (2025) All Variants, brings together the full run with striking precision and eye-catching appeal.
Written by Jeph Loeb, penciled by Jim Lee, inked by Scott Williams, colored by Alex Sinclair and edited by Bob Schreck, the initial “Hush” arc ran in Batman #608-619. It introduced a mysterious new villain called Hush whose identity is unknown but who seems intent on sabotaging Bruce Wayne/Batman using manipulation, other villains in Gotham and deep knowledge of Bruce’s past. In the end, Hush is revealed to be Thomas Elliot, an old childhood friend of Bruce Wayne with resentment rooted in family tragedy and jealousy.
Now, two decades later, the sequel re-unites much of the original creative team: Jeph Loeb is back writing, Jim Lee doing pencils, Scott Williams inking, Alex Sinclair coloring, and Richard Starkings lettering. It started with Batman #158 in March 2025 and runs for at least six issues as part of the main Batman title.
