Among the featured comics is a Batman #1 graded CGC 4.0. Published by DC Comics in the spring of 1940, this comic is one of the top grails of the Golden Age, launching the Caped Crusader into his own title after a breakout debut in Detective Comics #27 the year before. The issue is loaded with milestone moments, including the first appearances of the Joker and Catwoman.

Also available is an unmatched Thor #156 graded CGC 10. It is nearly impossible to find a comic from this era in such a high grade, making this an impressive addition to any collection. Thor, the Norse God of Thunder, debuted in Journey into Mystery #83 in 1962, brought to life by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby during Marvel’s explosive Silver Age. Drawing on mythological roots, Lee and Kirby reimagined Thor as both a cosmic superhero and a godly figure torn between Asgard and Earth.
