Creator origins: Nguyen is a New York Times Bestselling and multiple Eisner Award-winning comic creator. He is best known for his work on the creator-owned series Descender and follow-up Ascender, published by Image Comics.

He has also been the artist on memorable series for DC Comics such as Detective Comics, Batman: Streets of Gotham and American Vampire. He also worked on Little Monsters, created by himself and renowned writer Jeff Lemire and published by Image Comics.
