Among the CGC-certified comics offered in this sale is an Amazing Spider-Man #15 graded CGC 3.0. This early adventure by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko introduces the villain Kraven the Hunter as a man who treats Spider-Man like prey rather than an enemy. The issue also carries extra weight as Ditko’s final Spider-Man story, marking the end of an era. The artist’s visual style shaped how Spider-Man moved and fought, defining the character’s tone long after his departure.

Also available in this auction is a Fantastic Four #48 graded CGC 3.5. This story changed the scale of Marvel storytelling with the first appearance of Galactus and the Silver Surfer. In this issue, Stan Lee and Jack Kirby present Galactus as a looming presence whose hunger threatens entire worlds. The Silver Surfer arrives ahead of him, quietly questioning the destruction he helps enable. Together they pull the Fantastic Four into a conflict, setting the foundation for Marvel’s cosmic mythology for decades to come.
