CGC Welcomes Back Powerhouse Creative Forces: Jim Lee, Jeph Loeb, Scott Williams, and Alex Sinclair

Industry titans Jim Lee, Jeph Loeb, Scott Williams, and Alex Sinclair are assembling for an exclusive powerhouse signing with CGC Signature Series celebrating the visionary creators behind some of comics’ most iconic modern masterpieces.

CGC Signature Series is excited to bring together a true powerhouse lineup, welcoming superstar creators Jim Lee, Jeph Loeb, Scott Williams, and Alex Sinclair for an all-star signing event collectors won’t want to miss.

This iconic team has helped define modern comics through legendary runs on Batman and X-Men, blending dynamic storytelling with some of the most recognizable visuals in the industry. Now, fans have the rare chance to submit both comics and trading cards to be officially signed and certified, turning already prized pieces into centerpiece collectibles.

“We’re bringing together an incredible group of creators whose work has shaped the modern era of comics,” said Brittany McManus, CGC Vice President of Autographs. “Opportunities like this don’t come around often, and being able to connect collectors directly with talent of this caliber is what makes these events so special for the hobby.”

CGC must receive all submissions for this event by July 26, 2026. The deadline for international submissions is two weeks earlier than the US deadline to allow time for delivery. If the Private Signing needs to be rescheduled, CGC will securely store all submissions in its vault until the event can be held.

After the submitted comics and cards are signed, CGC will grade and encapsulate them with an estimated turnaround time of six weeks. If CGC pressing for comics is also requested, the turnaround time is estimated at eight weeks. After grading and encapsulation, the collectibles will be shipped back to their owners.

The CGC Private Signing fee for Jim Lee is $140 per item and includes:

The CGC Private Signing fee for a Jim Lee Remarque is $570 per item and includes:

  • Jim Lee’s Remarque. The submitter may request the desired Remarque. Important: The final design and subject matter of the Remarque is at the artist’s discretion. CGC cannot guarantee Remarque requests. No blank covers.

The CGC Private Signing fee for a Jim Lee Sharpie Side Profile Sketch is $1,085 per item and includes:

  • Jim Lee’s Sharpie Side Profile Sketch. Important: The final design and subject matter of the sketch is at the artists’ discretion. CGC cannot guarantee sketch requests. Submissions must be a blank sketch cover.
  • Jim Lee’s signature

The fee for a Jim Lee Inked Side Profile Sketch Buckslip is $1,585 per item and includes:

Submission Instructions

For this CGC Private Signing event, you can ship submissions directly to CGC with a FREE membership. Paid memberships are also available and include additional benefits. For more information and to join, visit CGCcomics.com/join.

To submit books for the signing:

  • Log onto your account or sign up for an account HERE.
  • Click Submit in the CGC website navigation and select Submission Forms.
  • Next to Comics / Magazines / Pulps, select Online Form.
  • Click Start New Order.
  • Select Comic or Magazine, then select CGC Signature Series, then select In-House Private Signing and one of the following from the dropdown menu section:

  • Enter the information requested for your comic, and make sure to check the box next to Loeb/Lee/Williams/Sinclairunder Private Signing Details.
  • If a qualifying custom label is available, you will have the option to click the Custom Label box and make a selection to add one of CGC’s custom labels to your submission for qualifying books.
  • Select Add Comic, and then repeat if there are additional books in your submission. If there are no additional books in your submission, click on Review Cart and proceed to checkout.
  • Note: If you want to submit magazines, please group them together on their own private signing form separate from comic submissions. The same rule applies for any custom labels.   • Put ALL ungraded books in window bags or they will not be accepted.
  • Books that are already certified by CGC, including CGC Signature Series books, can be submitted for this event. CGC will remove a CGC-certified book from its holder for an additional $5 fee.
  • Carefully package books in a box for shipment.
  • IMPORTANT: Please write JL/JL/SW/AS on all sides of the outside of the box. You must initial the outside of the box or we will not be able to honor the submission for this signing.
  • Books will be received into the CGC system when they arrive and will be safely stored by CGC until the event. (Please note: Payments are processed as they normally are at the time of the collectibles’ arrival at CGC.)
  • Once books are signed, they will start an expedited CGC grading process.

To submit cards for the signing:

  • Log onto your account or sign up for an account HERE.
  • Click Submit in the CGC Cards website navigation and select Submission Form.
  • Click on the link to the CGC Cards Online Form.
  • Select "Mail-In or Show Drop-Off" under Select Submission Method.
  • Select "Grading" under Select Primary Service.
  • Choose Jim Lee, Signature or Jeph Loeb, Signature under Select Tier.
  • Enter the information requested for your card.
  • Select Add to Cart, and then repeat if there are additional cards in your submission. If there are no additional cards in your submission, click on the cart icon and proceed to checkout.
  • Carefully package cards in a box for shipment.
  • IMPORTANT: Please write JL/JL/SW/AS on all sides of the outside of the box. You must initial the outside of the box or we will not be able to honor the submission for this signing.

Sketch Submission Guidelines

If you opted for a sketch with a limited number of spots, your books must be shipped within one week of placing your submission order. After shipping, you must email privatesignings@cgccomics.com with the following details:

  • Your order number
  • Your tracking number
  • The artist’s name you are sending books in for
  • The number of sketches included in your order

Orders not shipped within the required timeframe may be subject to cancellation.

Please Note:

All submissions must be received by CGC no later than July 26, 2026, to qualify for this private signing event. No change requests will be accepted after July 26, 2026. The deadline for international submissions is two weeks earlier than the US deadline to allow time for delivery. Membership credits and paid membership discounts cannot be applied to CGC Private Signing fees, and submissions cannot be combined with other CGC Private Signing events. If you submit a CGC-graded collectible that needs to be removed from its original holder by CGC, the collectible will need to go through the certification and encapsulation process again, and there is no guarantee that it will receive the same grade. Marker color requests are welcome but not guaranteed. Marker color choice and signature placement are at the final discretion of the signer.
