CGC and JSA Accepting Submissions at the Detroit Sports Spectacular

CGC® and JSA® are excited to be accepting submissions of sports cards, TCGs, non-sports cards, comics, magazines, video games, home video collectibles, and autographed memorabilia at the Detroit Sports Spectacular, being held at the Vibe Credit Union Showplace in Novi, Michigan, on May 29-31, 2026. In addition, JSA will provide on-site autograph authentication at the event and CGC Signature Series witnesses will be available.

About the Detroit Sports Spectacular

The Detroit Sports Spectacular is one of the premier shows in the country, with more than 400 vendor tables of merchandise and collectibles, including sports cards, TCGs, autographed memorabilia, and other sports and non-sports items. The show also has one of the top sports autograph lineups in the nation, featuring numerous stars from all the major sports, pop culture, and more. They include current and former sports stars like Barry Sanders, Calvin Johnson, Chris Webber, Allen Iverson, Charles Woodson, Jahmyr Gibbs, Aidan Hutchinson, and many more!

Our representatives will be accepting submissions at the show. Bring your favorite collectibles to take advantage of fast turnaround times and save one way on shipping fees! Further instructions on the submission process are below.

CGC Signature Series will be at the show with witnesses ready to put eyes on your prize(s)! Be sure to get your collectibles prepped with the CGC Signature Series online submission form to save you a lot of time at the show! Watch this short video to learn how to get this process started:

JSA on-site services for autographed memorabilia

Submit autographed memorabilia for Basic Certification (COA), and items are processed and finalized the same day. Collectors can also submit items for the JSA Letter of Authenticity (LOA). These are observed the same day, with final documented results sent later by mail. Go to SpenceLOA.com/fees for submission pricing.

Preparing submissions for the show

Submit sports cards, TCGs, non-sports cards, comics, magazines, video games, and home video collectibles for CGC grading. Autographed cards may be submitted for CGC x JSA Authentic Autograph certification.

Why wait in line with your submission? Submit your prepared collectibles through the Express Drop-off Service. Simply take the following steps before arriving:

1. Create a CGC account here. All it takes is a free account to submit, and paid members get additional discounts and benefits.
2. Go to the online submission form for cards, comics, video games, or home video.
3. Select “Mail-In or Show Drop-Off” to start your submission.
4. Complete the submission form and print the packing slips.

Important: To ensure that your submission process stays on schedule, please place your collectibles in the order listed on the packing slip. Please bring BOTH copies of the packing slip with your collectibles to the show drop-off. Failure to do so will result in delays.


5. Keep your collectibles safe and secure until you drop off your submission (including the packing slip) with a representative.
6. Go to the Express Drop-off sign to finalize your submission.

All submissions will be transported to CGC’s headquarters in Sarasota, Florida, for authentication, grading, and encapsulation.
