Creator origins: Mayhew specializes in photo-realism and intense rendering of dynamic subjects, using an approach that ranges from state-of-the-art digital techniques to traditional watercolor and acrylic painting. He has worked on many variant covers for titles such as Star Wars, The Amazing Spider-Man, Deadpool, X-Men, and Vampirella. Recently, Mayhew created stunning covers for the series G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero and The Mandalorian.
