CGC Comics Registry Featured Set: My CGC Superman For All Seasons Collection

Summer is nearly at an end, and just as the seasons change, we take a moment to celebrate this month’s featured CGC Comics Registry Set, My CGC Superman For All Seasons Collection by Registry Member The Captain.

Originally published by DC Comics in 1998, the series offers a heartfelt, beautifully illustrated exploration of Superman’s early years through the changing seasons of his life. From its striking covers to Sale’s expressive storytelling and Loeb’s intimate characterization, the series remains a beloved interpretation of Superman’s humanity, optimism, and sense of responsibility.

Loeb and Sale became an iconic creative team, working together on other titles such as Batman: The Long Halloween, Challengers of the Unknown, and Spider-Man: Blue. They also returned to the world of Superman For All Seasons, with additional short stories told in the pages of Solo and Superman/Batman.

Completing a collection of Superman For All Seasons is an accomplishment on its own, but assembling a complete set of the acclaimed four-issue series in CGC Signature Series holders, each signed by writer Jeph Loeb and artist Tim Sale and graded CGC 9.8, takes it to another level.
