CGC Announces Private Signing with Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner

Fan-favorite creators Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner are returning for another Private Signing with CGC Signature Series!

CGC is thrilled to offer collectors the opportunity to have their comics and cards signed by the amazing duo of Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner!

Amanda Conner is a powerhouse in the comic book industry, dazzling fans with her instantly recognizable, vibrant and expressive style! For more than 30 years, she has brought iconic heroines to life in Harley Quinn, Power Girl, Vampirella, Starfire, Painkiller Jane, Silk Spectre, and Wonder Woman, infusing every page with humor, heart, and electrifying energy. Beyond her unforgettable storytelling, she dominates the world of comic book covers, averaging around 40 stunning pieces a year for the industry’s biggest publishers.

Her art is more than just eye-catching — it’s a celebration of the bold, playful, and powerful spirit of comics themselves. Amanda Conner isn’t just an artist; she’s a legend, shaping the way we see our favorite characters and redefining what it means to create truly captivating visual narratives!

Jimmy Palmiotti is also a powerhouse in the comic book industry, known for his sharp storytelling, dynamic art, and ability to breathe new life into classic characters. He started as an inker at Marvel in the early '90s, working on Punisher, Ghost Rider, and the Marvel 2099 line, before co-founding Event Comics with Joe Quesada. Together, they created Ash and Painkiller Jane, two cult-favorite characters that showcased their knack for gritty, high-energy storytelling. Their success led to spearheading the Marvel Knights imprint, which revitalized Daredevil, Punisher, and Black Panther, setting the stage for modern superhero storytelling. Palmiotti later became a prolific writer, creating the company PaperFilms and crafting standout runs on Deadpool, Heroes for Hire, Jonah Hex, Harley Quinn, Power Girl, Batwing, and Red Sonja, blending humor, action, and classic storytelling.

Currently, Palmiotti is writing the monthly Deadly Tales of the Gunslinger for Todd McFarlane and Image Comics, a series that explores the brutal origins of Gunslinger Spawn. He is also working on Pop Kill for Mad Cave Studios, a chaotic, espionage-fueled comic centered around rival soda companies, and the crossover series Harley Quinn/Elvira for Dynamite comics.

Their newest work together includes Pop Kill: Big Candy, Denver, and Deadly Tales of the Gunslinger.

Submission Deadline

CGC must receive all submissions for this event by January 29, 2027. The deadline for international submissions is two weeks earlier than the US deadline to allow time for delivery. If the Private Signing needs to be rescheduled, CGC will securely store all submissions in its vault until the event can be held. After the submitted comics and cards are signed, CGC will grade and encapsulate them with an estimated turnaround time of six weeks. If CGC pressing for comics is also requested, the turnaround time is estimated at eight weeks. After grading and encapsulation, the collectibles will be shipped back to their owners.

Submission Instructions

For this CGC Private Signing event, you can ship submissions directly to CGC with a FREE membership. Paid memberships are also available and include additional benefits.

To submit books for the signing:

Log onto your account or sign up for an account.
Click Submit in the CGC website navigation and select Submission Forms.
Next to Comics / Magazines / Pulps, select Online Form.
Click Start New Order.
Select Comic or Magazine, then select CGC Signature Series, then select In-House Private Signing and one of the following from the dropdown menu: Jimmy Palmiotti, Signature; Amanda Conner, Signature; Palmiotti/Conner, Signature; Jimmy Palmiotti, Remarque; Amanda Conner, Remarque; Amanda Conner, Blank Cover; or Jimmy Palmiotti, Blank Cover.
Under Primary Services, select Authentication & Grading and, if desired, Pressing. Then click Add Comic.
Enter the information requested for your comic and make sure to check the box next to Jimmy Palmiotti/Amanda Conner under Private Signing Details.
If a qualifying custom label is available, you will have the option to select one of CGC's custom labels for your submission.
Select Add Comic and repeat if there are additional books in your submission. If there are no additional books, click Review Cart and proceed to checkout.
If you want to submit magazines, group them together on their own private signing form separate from comic submissions. The same rule applies for custom labels. Group them together on their own private signing form separate from non-custom labels. See the CGC Label Gallery for available labels.
Put ALL ungraded books in window bags or they will not be accepted.
Books that are already certified by CGC, including CGC Signature Series books, can be submitted for this event. CGC will remove a CGC-certified book from its holder for an additional $5 fee.
Carefully package books in a box for shipment.
IMPORTANT: Please write JP/AC on all sides of the outside of the box. You must write this on the outside of the box or we will not be able to honor the submission for this signing.
Books will be received into the CGC system when they arrive and will be safely stored by CGC until the event. Payments are processed when the collectibles arrive at CGC.
Once books are signed, they will start an expedited CGC grading process.

To submit cards for the signing:

Log onto your account or sign up for a CGC Cards account.
Click Submit in the CGC Cards website navigation and select Submission Form.
Click the link to the CGC Cards Online Form.
Select Mail-In or Show Drop-Off under Select Submission Method.
Select Grading under Select Primary Service.
Choose either Jimmy Palmiotti, Signature; Amanda Conner, Signature or Palmiotti/Conner, Signature under Select Tier.
Enter the information requested for your card.
Select Add to Cart and repeat if there are additional cards in your submission. If there are no additional cards, click on the cart icon and proceed to checkout.
Carefully package cards in a box for shipment.

Remarque, Sketch, and Signature Submission Guidelines

If you opted for a remarque, sketch, or signature with a limited number of spots, your books must be shipped within one week of placing your submission order. After shipping, you must email privatesignings@cgccomics.com with the following details:

Your order number
Your tracking number
The artist’s name you are sending books in for
The number of remarques, sketches, and limited-quantity signatures included in your order

Orders not shipped within the required timeframe may be subject to cancellation.

Please Note

All submissions must be received by CGC no later than January 29, 2027, to qualify for this private signing event. No change requests will be accepted after January 29, 2027. The deadline for international submissions is two weeks earlier than the US deadline to allow time for delivery. Membership credits and paid membership discounts cannot be applied to CGC Private Signing fees, and submissions cannot be combined with other CGC Private Signing events. If you submit a CGC-graded collectible that needs to be removed from its original holder by CGC, the collectible will need to go through the certification and encapsulation process again, and there is no guarantee that it will receive the same grade. Marker color requests are welcome but not guaranteed. Marker color choice and signature placement are at the final discretion of the signer.
