CGC Announces Private Signing with Actor Sean Bean

Pricing for Card Submissions

The CGC Signing fee for Sean Bean is $375 per item and includes:

• Sean Bean's signature
• Estimated turnaround time of six weeks for CGC grading
• Encapsulation with the iconic yellow CGC Signature Series label

Submission Instructions

For this CGC Private Signing event, you can ship submissions directly to CGC with a FREE membership. Paid memberships are also available and include additional benefits.

To submit books for the signing:

1. Log onto your account or sign up for an account.
2. Click Submit in the CGC website navigation and select Submission Forms.
3. Next to Comics / Magazines / Pulps, select Online Form.
4. Click Start New Order.
5. Select Comic or Magazine, then select CGC Signature Series, then select In-House Private Signing and one of the following from the dropdown menu: Sean Bean, Signature; Sean Bean, Quote; Sean Bean, Personalization; or Sean Bean, Character Name.
6. Under Primary Services, select Authentication & Grading and, if desired, Pressing. Then click Add Comic.
7. Enter the information requested for your comic and make sure to check the box next to Sean Bean under Private Signing Details.
8. If a qualifying custom label is available, you will have the option to select one of CGC's custom labels for your submission.
9. Select Add Comic and repeat if there are additional books in your submission. If there are no additional books, click Review Cart and proceed to checkout.
10. If you want to submit magazines, group them together on their own private signing form separate from comic submissions. The same rule applies for custom labels. Group them together on their own private signing form separate from non-custom labels. See the CGC Label Gallery for available labels.
11. Put ALL ungraded books in window bags or they will not be accepted.
12. Books that are already certified by CGC, including CGC Signature Series books, can be submitted for this event. CGC will remove a CGC-certified book from its holder for an additional $5 fee.
13. Carefully package books in a box for shipment.

    IMPORTANT: Please write SB on all sides of the outside of the box. You must write this on the outside of the box or we will not be able to honor the submission for this signing.

14. Books will be received into the CGC system when they arrive and will be safely stored by CGC until the event. Payments are processed when the collectibles arrive at CGC.
15. Once books are signed, they will start an expedited CGC grading process.

To submit cards for the signing:

1. Log onto your account or sign up for a CGC Cards account.
2. Click Submit in the CGC Cards website navigation and select Submission Form.
3. Click the link to the CGC Cards Online Form.
4. Select Mail-In or Show Drop-Off under Select Submission Method.
5. Select Grading under Select Primary Service.
6. Choose Sean Bean, Signature under Select Tier.
7. Enter the information requested for your card.
8. Select Add to Cart and repeat if there are additional cards in your submission. If there are no additional cards, click on the cart icon and proceed to checkout.
9. Carefully package cards in a box for shipment.

10. Cards will be received into the CGC Cards system when they arrive and will be safely stored by CGC Cards until the event. Payments are processed when the collectibles arrive at CGC.

Please Note

All submissions must be received by CGC no later than November 6, 2026, to qualify for this private signing event. No change requests will be accepted after November 6, 2026. The deadline for international submissions is two weeks earlier than the US deadline to allow time for delivery. Membership credits and paid membership discounts cannot be applied to CGC Private Signing fees, and submissions cannot be combined with other CGC Private Signing events. If you submit a CGC-graded collectible that needs to be removed from its original holder by CGC, the collectible will need to go through the certification and encapsulation process again, and there is no guarantee that it will receive the same grade. Marker color requests are welcome but not guaranteed. Marker color choice and signature placement are at the final discretion of the signer.
