Apply to Attend the CGC Comics Academy, a Free Grading Seminar!

Certified Guaranty Company® (CGC®) is thrilled to announce the first-ever CGC Comics Academy, taking place July 9-10, 2022! This two-day seminar is an opportunity to learn comic book grading from the CGC experts, test your knowledge, win prizes, submit collectibles and more. Plus, you’ll have a chance to receive a job offer from CGC!

It’s free to apply for and attend the CGC Comics Academy, but you must be 18 years of age or older, and your application must be accepted by CGC. A limited number of spaces are available. The deadline to apply is May 27 at 2 p.m. ET. The CGC team will immediately begin reviewing applications to determine who will be accepted to attend the seminar. The CGC Comics Academy is being held in Tampa, Florida, at the Embassy Suites Tampa Downtown Convention Center. During the seminar, snacks, beverages and lunch will be provided, and afterwards, attendees are invited to a happy hour. Attendees are responsible for their own transportation and accommodations.*

The CGC Comics Academy syllabus includes Comic Grading 101, History of Comic Book Grading, the CGC Process, Live Grading Demos and more. At the end of the seminar, there will be a comic book grading test for prizes. All attendees will receive plenty of CGC swag and a CGC Comics Academy Diploma to keep.

CGC Comics Academy attendees will also be able to submit collectibles for grading during the seminar.
