Creator origins: As a contributing creator on the Invincible series, Ottley designed and co-created a large part of the Invincible universe with writer Robert Kirkman and is the primary artist for 127 issues of the 144-issue run. Invincible is now an animated TV series on Amazon Prime video, for which Ottley works as a consultant.
After Invincible, Ottley went to Marvel and did 20 issues on Amazing Spider-Man with writer Nick Spencer; he was then the artist on Hulk with writer Donny Cates. He finished the run as both the writer and the artist.
